A tormentor on the other hand is is someone who gives you a very hard time. Now that we know their definitions let us clearly define their differences, a mentor is someone who builds you up, has your best interest at heart. While the tormentor is someone who pushes you down. A mentor is a very different type of person from a tormentor. The point is that they are very different. And the sad truth is that if you don't find the RIGHT person to mentor you in your network marketing business your mentor slowly turns into your tormentor. Things to look for in a Mentor: Heart -- for their downline business partners. They do things not out of selfish gain, but for the good of the one being mentored first and foremost. They educate more than order, learning the choice to you. Expertise ? find a person who is an expert in network marketing because this person surely has a whole lot more of experience than you. And they could easily point out which way to go in the network marketing business. They are experts, they have made their mistakes already, so learn from them. Personality ? find a person who has a positive outlook in life because your mentor should be your source of inspiration and encouragement. You do not want to have a mentor who is negative. A negative mentor would always discourage you, so look for a can-do Upline. Now, if you find someone who has heart, expertise, and the right personality, Approach Them! Let them know you want to be successful in network marketing just like them. You want to be mentored by them. But remember this truth, mentorship is a two-way process, the mentor teaches you and you must apply what they teach you. If you want to take full advantage of the mentorship, be TEACHABLE. Without a mentor you would have a very very hard time in growing your network marketing business. So FIND a mentor now and watch your network marketing business grow, which leads us to the next question, Where Can I Find a Mentor? There are a lot of mentors out in network marketing out there, your upline could be one, or maybe your next door neighbor, and you could even find some mentors in network marketing here online. So put on those shoes and go to the closest person you know qualified to mentor you or you can surf the web for a few minutes in search of an online mentor. An online mentorship is great.
